Built to be read,
by everyone.
Most note-taking tools forget one simple thing: re-reading should be comfortable. Carré puts reading comfort at its core, not buried in a menu. Helpful with dyslexia, visual fatigue, or simply to move fast without tiring.
Built-in aids, not afterthoughts.
These settings are designed in from the start. Nothing to install, nothing to pay.
Reading comfort
A more legible font and increased spacing (letters, words, lines), helpful with dyslexia or visual fatigue. One click, nothing changes for anyone else.
Enhanced contrast
Text meets the recommended contrast levels (WCAG AA), in dark and light themes alike, so it stays readable in any condition.
Keyboard navigation
Everything is reachable with the keyboard, with a clearly visible focus ring. Handy without a mouse, or with a screen reader.
Reduced motion
Carré respects the system "reduce motion" setting. If you prefer it, the interface stays calm, with no unnecessary movement.
Transcription is a reading aid.
Following a meeting or a lecture live, capturing everything, remembering it all: it's exhausting. Carré handles it, and lets you re-read at your own pace.
You listen, you don't chase
No need to write everything down as people speak. You stay present; Carré keeps the record.
- Nothing to jot down in a rush, less mental load
- A time marker jumps to the right part of the audio
You re-read at your pace
The summary and transcript read calmly, can be replayed, and Bob answers your questions.
- Clear text, re-readable as many times as needed
- The reading comfort mode applies everywhere
- You can talk to Bob instead of reading, if that's easier
We keep improving.
Accessibility is never "done". We move forward continuously, and your feedback matters. A friction, an idea? Write to us at contact@edufrem.com.
And so this is not just a promise: Carré is audited against RGAA 4.1, the French accessibility standard, and the result is public — 98.6% of applicable criteria met, with the list of what is not met yet and the date by which we expect to have fixed it. Read the accessibility statement.
